Greetings Everybody, Ashley Rock here and it's that time again, time to reveal the "Sneak Peek" for January 2012 Kit Of The Month Club for Scrap Happy in Tiffin, Ohio. This time I am showing you a 12x12 Double page spread, there are also 2 additional single pages to this kit as well. The January KOTMC is using the absolutely beautiful BoBunny Snowfall Collection and contains material to complete a total of 4 12x12 pages along with instructions and photos. I really had so much fun working with this KOTMC kit, the papers are ALL sparkly and not that I ever need an excuse to use sparkle but with snow pictures the sparkle will be so beautiful! November class!!!!

As promised....here is my 2nd post for the day!!!! This is my November card class....it will be begin on November 30th at 6:00, so, come and get glittery with us!!!!!!

I LOVE GLITTER!!!! and THIS glitter is THE sparkliest glitter I have EVER seen...not kidding!!! It is PK Glitz glitter and it is wonderful!!!!

In the class I will be showing you how to make 2 cards and a Christmas ornament (the ornament will be made with various colors so you can choose from a group of colors). They are so simple you will be amazed! We will also be making 2 cards so I can show you how to use the glue tip and work with the acetate images we have. So simple to make beautiful cards.

As glitter goes, these pictures do NOT do the images justice so if you come into the store....tell them I said to look at the glitter samples and class images so you can see for yourself....you will fall in love with this stuff!! I will not make you wait further....so here are my class images!!

Hi everybody!! Long time so see!!.....Sharon here.....I have a couple of posts for you to feast your eyes upon. First I am going to show you a card I made with the Tim Holtz dies, limited edition Christmas distress inks, embossing folder, grungepaper and crackle paint....I also used some sparkle fluff on the tree branches. You have to see this in person because the deer with the swirls is actually a see thru window!!

Thanksgiving Place Cards

Hello Everybody!!

It's Trina from the Design Team here! I think I have caught up on all my sleep from an amazing trip to NYC with my son's HS Band. These kids were a great group and I would go anywhere with them again!

Now onto a little project, with Thanksgiving coming up and you want to make the table a little special or give them a little keepsake try making place cards. Here is the photo.

I cut my kraft paper 6x6 and folded in half to make a 3x6 place card. I colored the oh so lovely Pilgrim Marci with my copics and cut her out. I used paper from the 6x6 Designer Paper Pad in All Spice. Cut a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 piece of paper as a base for my vellum. I used my computer to print the Happy Thanksgiving on the vellum and cut it to fit the base. You can just use names if you have a lot of people or need to assign seats so you really do have a Happy Thanksgiving! LOL Or just like I made mine! Until next time! I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and Safe Travels for all of you traveling for the Holiday. Oh and good luck on all your Black Friday Shopping!!

Copic Class Nov. 19th

Trina here with the design team. I am promoting my Copic class in this blog post. When you read this post I will be in NYC with my son's high school band. The Seneca East Tiger Pride Band was selected to play in a 9/11 Tribute and march in the Veteran's Day Parade.

Now on to my class, the beginner class starts at 10 am and you learn about the Copics and basic coloring techniques. The advance class starts at 11 am and you get to do a small project to duplicate when you get home. This month the advance class will be doing a tea light/votive Christmas card, with of course Marci our cute little La La's that Susie is always posting about. I must admit I am a little addicted to them too!

So sign up for the classes Nov. 19, Beginner $10 at 10 am and Advanced $15 at 11 am.

My NEW favorite tool........

There it is, doesn't look like much, huh? But let me tell you, this is one amazing, MUST HAVE new thing-a-ma-bob! It's the newest toy from We R Memory Keepers, the Sew Ribbon. This is THE coolest thing ever! I thought I loved the Sew Easy, but this surpasses that and then some! I am doing a scrapbook on my garden & flowers and I thought this particular Sew Ribbon would be perfect, it is the Leaf. It is SO easy to use and that is the honest truth. The tool itself is very easy to manipulate & line up, it has a ruler on it and being that it is magnetic, it is impossible NOT to have it lined up with itself. The punch is quite sharp, so be careful in the presence of children, but it certainly does its job. I tried it through several weights of paper and even doubled up and it worked beautifully under all circumstances.

Each tool comes with 3 "needles". They are also sold separately & they are basically just adhesive acrylic pieces that help weave the ribbon through the punched holes, but although one could probably rig up his/her own version the "needles", they are imperative to using the tool with ease and really aren't that expensive so I will definitely keep myself well stocked with these handy-dandy little thing-a-ma-dos! We R have special ribbon to use and although it isn't necessary to buy their ribbon, it sure is a heck of a lot easier to always know you have the perfect size ribbon. The ribbon comes in 10 different color families with 3 shades and textures on each "spool". There are 6 different Sew Ribbon designs, each as beautiful as the last and guess what? I have them all, and guess where I got them? You betcha, Susie & Scrap Happy! She has the full line, everything! Not only that but she and the girls at Scrap Happy will be doing some awesome make-n-takes with the Sew Ribbon this weekend at the Fall Open House.

Here is my project with the Sew Ribbon on the bottom and then a close-up image. One side note, I used sheer ribbon for a more tone on tone affect, just my preference, but I used my Tim Holtz Distress ink in Peeled Paint and my sponge dauber and inked the holes that were punched so it didn't look so stark. That step would not be needed if using a more opaque ribbon, but I still think it looks great! Like I said, my new FAVORITE tool!

A New Twist with Alcohol Inks

It's Trina with the Scrap Happy design team here. I have been MIA the last few weeks. Life sometimes gets in the way of creative time! So I did this project with the MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) group a couple of weeks ago.

Supplies:

Glass jar ( baby food size to pickle jar size)
Alcohol inks - terra cotta, rust and caramel
Black Diamond stickles or glass paint
Yarn, ribbons or twine
Tea light

What you need to do is to make sure you remove all labels from the jar. Then put drops of one color of the alcohol inside the sides of the jar and roll around. When that is dry go to the next color and so on. Then you make a Jack-O-Lantern face on the front of the jar with your stickles and let dry. Use your ribbon, yarn, etc. to decorate the top rim of the jar. Insert a tealight and presto a Jack-o-lantern without the mess!

I love the stained glass effect of the alcohol inks. Hope you like and give it a try!

Christmas tree made from Paper Rosettes Die

I've had this silly empty yarn cone sitting around for some time I finally figured out what I was going to do with it. I pulled out my Tim Holtz Mini Rosettes die, along with glitter paper, black cardstock, and several prints from the Simple Stories: 25 Days of Christmas Colletion. I layered the black under each strip of the rosette cut then wrapped it around the cone. As I got closer to the top I used the smaller cuts. I used glue lines and zip lines to hold it all on the cone. Merry Christmas!

Paper Flower Corsage

Hey! Erin here for design team Tuesday. Ive been a MIA that last few weeks, ugh and sorry. It's nothing major, just life getting in the way of crafting/blogging again. I have a quick post for you today. I used a Spellbinders perfect petals die set and some purple cardstock, some Stickles, glue dots, elastic, lavendar organza ribbon, and lime green tulle, wire spirals, pearl embellishments and flower shaped "crystal" embellishment. I made this for my son's date to Homecoming, and am happy to say that she appreciated it and thought it was "cool" :) Thanks for stopping by.

I have 2 pictures, one taken with a flash, so you can see the stickles and one without the flash that shows more true colors.

NEW Kit Of The Month Club

Hello Everybody!

This is Ashley Rock here and I am oober excited to announce that Scrap Happy is starting up a brand new Kit Of The Month Club, "KOTMC" for short ;) I will be the one designing the kits each month and the very first kit will be starting this November. How exciting!!

KOTMC details:

*I will design 4 pages with each kit (this could vary, but is not likely)

*Step by step instructions and photos will be included

*Features a new line on the market each month

*Comes with full sheets of paper so if you want to change up your layouts you can easily do so

*Embellishments will be split so we can incorporate more of a variety

As mentioned, the KOTMC’s first kit will be the November kit. Each month the kit will be in stock and displayed at Scrap Happy by the 1^st, for example the November kit will be there by November 1^st.

You can get your kit 1 of 2 ways: Commit for 6 months or pick and choose each month (please thoroughly read the difference between the 2 choices)

*If you want to do the 6 month commitment, this commitment guarantees you a kit every month and you will be able to purchase the kit at the commitment price of $20 a month.

*If you want to pick and choose, unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that there will be any kits left as we are placing orders with our vendors according to the amount of people we have committed. And then there’s the non-discounted kit price of $25 for each kit.

If you know that you are interested, I urge you to call into Scrap Happy as soon as possible to insure you receive a kit and so we can plan accordingly for the upcoming months.

**For those of you who are interested but don't live in the area, Scrap Happy will ship the kits to you for a flat rate of $6 each month

Sizzix Note Card Holder

Hey, Erin here for my Design Team tuesday post! Last week when I explained how to apply the paper to the die cut box, I was doing it the super hard way, lol. So I found out that you should apply the paper to the chipboard (both sides if you want the inside decorated) then place the chipboard on the die with the paper you want showing on the outside facing down. Way easier!!!! I used Modge Podge, it spreads easily with a Perfect Pearls brush and dries quickly.

So today's project is the note card holder die from Sizzix. I covered both sides with Simple Stories paper, the 25 Days of Christmas collection, front panel mat and tag from them also. Available now at Scrap Happy. I know it's crazy to be doing Christmas stuff in Septemeber, but I just couldn't resist the paper! The silver panel on the front is Quick Cut brand vinyl that I ran through the Big Shot with a Tim Holtz fades texture. Yes you can emboss vinyl! I love the look it has, like a tin ceiling panel. Used some Stickles on the holly at the bottom of the tag and some pop dots to make the tag stand out. Some stuff I already had in my stash, like the inside cardstock, ribbon, eyelet, number stickers, clothespin (ive seen these at the store too :) The tabs I cut on my Cricut from the Fabulous finds cartridges

Sideview: its about 1/2"thick, and inside cards are 3.5x5"

I added an acordian fold binding at the bottom of the inside panels so it could be a mini book, Christmas shopping reciept holder, gift card holder, or anything else holder, lol.

Each one of the inside panels has a little cut out decoration from the 6x6 pad of paper Simple Stories: 25 days of Christmas collection.

Tilda Fall Card.

Trina here from the Design Team. I was in Scrap Happy and seen that they have gotten some Magnolias stamps in! They are my second favorite stamp after La La Land stamps! I originally went in to get one of the Six by Six design paper pad All Spice by My Mind's Eye and thought if I found a fall Tilda stamp I knew exactly what I wanted to do! So, I made a fall card with the paper pad I bought and Tilda with Autumn leaves.

You need to stop in the store and take a look at this card! Adorable!!!!!!!! I used my copics to color her and cats eye chalk in pumpkin spice, olive paste, yellow cadmium and chestnut roan. I teach copics the 3rd Saturday of each month. Beginner is $10 and starts at 10 am and Advance is $15 and starts at 11am. Stop in the store and sign up today!

Sizzix Hanging Bag Die Project

Hey! Erin here for Design Team Tuesday posting: I stopped in Scrap Happy last week and browsed through the dies. Susie gave me a demo of a few and I think she challenged me to make some samples, lol. I decided to purchase the Big Shot ($69.99 EVERYDAY at Scrap Happy) with the Sizzix Hanging Bag die, and the long cutting mat to accomodate the larger dies. Below is the result! I used the chipboard off the back of a legal pad, Sillouhette vinyl in dark green, black and fuzzy white, these are all available at Scrap Happy. When I did the die cutting, I layered the vinyl on the die, then stacked the chipboard on top and ran it all through the Big Shot together, that way the vinyl would be cut the perfect size and the chipboard is just scored on the folds. If you just run the chipboard through, it will just be scored on the folds. I used some embellishments from my stash. The letters are cut on the Cricut at 0.5" from the Varsity cartridge. The little note pad is made from scraps of cardstock cut to 2.5"x3". I stacked them neatly on one side, clipped them with a couple binder clips and used Modge Podge brushed on thinly in a few coats to make it a "tear off" notepad. This one is going to my daughters teacher for a thank you gift. I have one other example that I did with paper instead of vinyl on my blog at http://www.pagesofpictures.com/.

I added a little bit of ribbon and white fuzzy vinly to dress up the mini binder clip.

These bags (more like a box) sit up perfectly by themselves. A mini gel pen is the perfect addition to the set. Another idea would be to add magnets to the back.

I'm thinking these are going to be a great gift around the holidays for everyone! Teacher, mail carriers, girls at the bank, Girl Scout troop leaders, secretaries, co-workers.....everyone can use a notepad!!!

Simple Stories....

If you have not been in the store to see the Simple Stories line...you HAVE to get in there....this paperline is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Of course, there are matching sticker sheets, too.

There are multiple lines, but right now, I am in love with the Family and Christmas lines!!

I used the family line and made this tray last night....so simple....the hardest part was trying to decide what to actually put on it....everything is sooooo pretty!! I am going to add a couple buttons but I am going to share it with you now anyways....

And, I am NOT trying to sound conceited, but the picture does NOT do this justice!!

Hope you like it.....but better than that she has some great samples in the store so if you want some of this, you better hurry because I do not think it is going to be there long....in fact, I am going to go get some more of it!!

My September Card Class is out!!

sorry, I forgot I told you I would update when I got the items to finish up my fourth card.....all done and posted for your viewing pleasure!! lol

I know, I know....you have all been sitting right on the edges of your seats to see what I am going to do this month....right??? Right! lol

Well, I am about to show you. There was such an overwhelming response to the Memory Box Halloween samples the store received, so I re-created some of them to have a class with you all! (I tweaked them a tiny bit to make them mine....oh, except for the tall one...I loved it just like it was and didn't want to change a thing!!!)

Only thing is, I am waiting on a die and a stamp to make up my fourth card so I am going to "borrow" an image from a Memory Box blog to show you pretty much what the 4th card is going to look like....it won't be exactly like that, but pretty close.

Show Your School Spirit with Cricut and Heat Transfer Vinyl!

For this project I used a sweatshirt that I purchased at a garage sale for $0.50 and the fabulous Silouhette Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) from Scrap Happy, Cricut and the Varsity Cricut Cartridge, plus you will need an iron to apply the HTV and a grid ruler to set the letters straight.

Finished Sweatshirt!

$0.50 plain blue hoodie sweatshirt from a garage sale. I always keep an eye out for plain shirts that I can decorate later.

I used the yellow fuzzy HTV to cut out the top layer of the lettering. For this project I only used the inside cut. I am saving the outline cut to put on another sweatshirt.

Here is what each top layer cut would look like with the background shadow. I used the special edition blue HTV with the glitter in it :)

To center the letters I first folded the sweatshirt in half and ironed on the fold, then used my handy grid ruler to line up the letters. If you remember to type your letters into the cricut backwards and flip the letters that aren't symetrical then they come off of the machine all lined up and ready to go. I remembered to flip mine, but forgot to type the words in backwards :0p

Close up of the lettering, I can tell my F is a little crooked, lol.

Halloween Decor

I am a week late with my project. Sorry about that, life can get crazy sometimes. I made a Halloween countdown calendar.

You will need:

12x12 frame (bought or homemade from sq. dowels)
Halloween paper. (I used Authentique collection Glowing) LOVE THIS PAPER!!
Canvas paper
Burlap
1 large wooden clothespin and 31 small clothespins
Twine
Tacks

Cover the frame with the burlap, cut diamonds and rectangles from paper and cut the canvas paper slightly larger than the papers you cut. Adhere the paper to the canvas. I cut 31 1/2in circles and wrote numbers 1-31 and adhere to your paper. With the tacks place on both sides of the frame about 12 on each and take the twine and make three row "clotheslines". Then use the little paper clips to attach the papers. Make a 4x4 square out of cardboard and wrap in burlap and adhere a 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 square piece of paper and attach to the top of the frame. Next cover with paper the large clothespin and adhere to the 4x4 square. Enjoy!

3-D Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge Project

This haunting project may seem a bit daunting at first, but after you make sure you have all of the pieces cut from the black bazzill cardstock, following the instructions for gluing in the booklet are fairly easy. I embellished with distress stickles in tarnished brass and spice marmalde, stickles in black diamond, and cotton balls for the smoke, ghost and spider webs. So fun! I used a white piece of cardstock marked up with distress stain then cut to fit the round lazy suzan the house is sitting on. (do you love the black cat in the background!) Happy Haunting!

It took me darn near FOREVER to finish this recipe book AND I am not even completely finished yet. I still have to add a few finishing touches, like a ribbon closure, yes? no?..... but I wanted to get this on as it would make SUCH an awesome Christmas gift. It didn't take forever because it was difficult, far from it, but because I have a bad habit of starting 100 things all at once!

Here is the cover, the back matches, sans the buttons. I used Bo Bunny 6x6 chipboard binder album, painted the edges, adhered my designer papers, sanded the edges, inked them, added my ribbon, floss in my buttons, then my buttons.

The pages of the album are also chipboard and I did the same things with the edges & paper. I used a Sizzix envelope die to make the pockets. I cut off the end and punched a half circle for the notch. I distressed them to death but I think they look pretty good.. There are two on each page and there is one recipe card in each.

I stamped and distressed my recipe cards on cardstock and rounded the edges with my crop-a-dile. A very easy and fulfilling project.

Of course I got everything I used at Scrap Happy. However, the paper line I used is an older line that has been discontinued, but Susie has some gorgeous papers that are perfect for a recipe album. Right now she has some new Crate Paper Farmhouse in both 6x6 and 12x12. Very beautiful papers. I am stocking up as we speak to make a couple with that line so YOU had better get in too! I used my Tim Holtz distress inks, Jenni Bowlin paint dabbers, Zip Dry paper glue, & embellishments and accessories from Scrap Happy, with the exception of the library clips. BUT, I am working on another recipe album using mini clothespins which I dyed with re-inkers (or alcohol inks) and will be using those in place of the clips. I am sorry that I won't be able to have this particular one on display at the store, it is a gift, but I will try to take better pictures during the daylight hours and post more later.

Summer World Tour.....

Finally....my summer world tour has ended...so sad!

Sharon and I made a list and realized I have been in 13 states this summer....you would think i would be exhausted but actually.... i am ready to go!!! I will share a little of each stop on the tour in several posts...i do not want you to get too bored!

I will share what my fav was.....Long Beach, California....BEAUTIFUL! I actually took a vacation...no laptop, no i pad....nothing just my kiddos, well 2 of them, Bailey decided she didn't want to go? She did not want to miss the first day of school, i have no idea how i produced a child that would pick school over the beach and JUSTIN BIEBER!!!! We had tickets for the Taylor Swift concert and Mr Bieber made a special appearence....Don't worry that ticket did not go to waste. We had the pleasure of having the most amazing tour guide....Alberto, so we invited him to go with us! He even wore his Bieber shoes just for the concert! it was a great time and can not wait til the next visit i make!

Not too soon to think about your Christmas Cards.

Hi Everyone! Well, I was asked by Susie to be part of the design team. I was elated to be asked and said yes. So here I am with my post for the week. I had another project in mind and I did not have all the items I needed so I decided to do a different take on a Christmas card.

I saw this new stamp by Impression Obsession at Scrap Happy and it screamed my name! I thought it would be a verstile stamp for birthdays, holidays, or a sympathy card, but I decided on a Christmas card. I colored the image with my copics, used vintage christmas Flower Soft, sparkly fluff, basic grey buttons w/ floss, green cardstock using the Spellbinder die eyelet circles and embossed it with a sizzix embossing folder and used the New Authentique collection paper called Wonder. I love this new company's paper.

Don't forget to check the calender for all the new classes coming up! I am also the copic instructor so check out my classes too! Don't forget to come back and follow the blog for the other design team project! My next project is a little home decor for Halloween! One of my favorite holidays, I might add! That all for now.

LA-LA'S ARE HERE!!!!!!!!

I have to share just a couple with you...these are just the ones I bought....but Susie has 56 different La-La's in the store!! You just have to see them all!!! It was soooooo difficult to decide which ones I wanted first...ugh....I hate hard decisions like that. But....I will show you which ones I decided on for starters.

OH....I also have to tell you.....if you have a smartphone, you can download an app for a Qreader.....and guess what you can do???? You can read that Q code on the labels and it will tell you what color Copic markers they used to color that image!!! The only downside is....they are only on the new release stamps until they use up all of their old packaging, but you can't blame them for that. I think this is just the coolest thing ever!!!!!

Heat Transfer Vinyl & Repurposed T-shirt

My youngest daughter had this t-shirt that we brought back for her from D.C. She recently out grew out of it but was sad to see it in the "donate" box. Most of her too small clothing goes to younger cousins or a friend that is smaller. So I pulled it out and typically would put it in a pile that will someday become a quilt made from old clothing. Well it didn't stay there long either before she pulled it out and asked to wear it again. I think it was the color that she loved the most, lol. So with a few scraps of fabric and the fabulous Silouhette brand HTV from Scrap Happy it is now her favorite backpack. Silouhette vinyl is a great value and Scrap Happy has a variety of colors already available in the store. I used my Cricut to cut out the letters of her name with the Hello Kitty Font cartridge. Did you know you can use shadows and layers with the HTV?! If you have not tried the iron-on (aka HTV or Heat Transfer Vinyl) in your Cricut, you are missing out on a whole world of crafts! Be sure to check the calendar for upcoming HTV Cricut classes.

Bonus: T-shirts my oldest DD and I made with a combo of screen printing and HTV for her Girl Scout Troop when they went to Chicago. The front of the shirt says: " If RAWR means I love you" and the back of the shirt says:

Altered scrapbook frame

I am so excited, I was asked by Susie to be on the "Design Team" for Scrap Happy and this is my very first submission for said "team" Please forgive the background, I am far too tired right now to edit and crop my pictures :)

What I decided to do was an altered Scrapbook frame and turn it into a cork board. With the exception of the Spray primer, cork, & pushpins, everything I used for this project I purchased at Scrap Happy AND SO CAN YOU!!!!

Here are the ingredients for this project,

naked scrapbook frame

12x12 piece of cork

Rolled flower dies from MFT

everyday clear pushpins

paint/paint dabbers

100% wool felt (always use this when die-cutting, it cuts crisp and doesn't stretch), your favorite papers (I used my FAVORITE, Authentique Splendid), coordinating bling, ribbons, adhesives (glue dots, Scor-tape 1/4", Ranger Glue 'n Seal Glossy, and liquid felt glue), Tim Holtz sander, and in this case some Diet Coke on ice and some U2 & Foo Fighters on the radio! Gotta have good music!

This was SO fun and easy to make and would make an awesome dorm room accessory!

Cricut layout, using Once Upon a Princess

One more Princess Ballerina layout! I found a perfect match of paper and Cricut Cartridge and put it to work on this layout. The Sugar & Spice phrase it cut at 2" from glitter paper, Bazzill swiss dot and white cardstock. The layers went together very quickly. Photo matte is cut at 4" using the Real Dial Size function, and the gems were cut at 2". So altogether I used, 2 Princess Ballerina background papers, 1 Bazzill swiss dot, a scrap of white cardstock, and a glitter paper. One note about the glitter paper, I have the majority of that sheet left to use in other projects, and when you put it in your cricut it cuts beautifully! I used setting of blade: 6, pressure: high, and multi-cut: 2. If any of these Cricut or scrapbooking terms sound like a foreign language, be sure to browse the class calendar at the Scrap Happy website :)

Did you know you can come to Scrap Happy and crop??

We have a GREAT crop room for you all....I even have pictures to prove it!!!

But FIRST.....I want to give you info on coming into the store to crop.....Fridays are FREE....yes, you heard me right....FREE!!!!!! You can come in and crop from 10 am until 10 pm on 'most' Fridays (sometimes we have special events)....all you have to do is call the store and see if the room is available and get a spot so you know you have a seat when you get there.

Saturday crops are only $25 (per person), too!! And those are from 10am until 10 pm, also.

(If you want to reserve the crop room for a private crop, please call the store for details 419-443-0882).

It is still only July, but our Christmas, Winter, Fall, Thanksgiving, and Halloween lines are rolling in. Right now our Memory Box is in store and ready for your consumption and they are simply delicious.

If you want any you must hurry in, Susie is taking them with her next week when she goes to Cincy for a convention and she may just come home empty handed because this season's line WILL get eaten up!! I would like to start off with a quick introduction. My name is Erin Nagy, I have been teaching the Cricut classes at Scrap Happy for a few months now. Susie asked me last week if I would like to be on the design team and I am very happy about that! I have been scrapbooking for about 8 years now, and teaching various classes on my own for 4 years. My scrapping style is usually simple and neat, but I love the look of direct to paper ink around the edges of mattes and color blocks. Last year I had the opportunity to become part of the Cricut Demo Army. That was a blast, but the program only lasted a few months. Most of my time at home is busy with DH, plus 3 kids, Nate age 17, Kayla almost 13 and Elizabeth age 5. They keep me running to various activities including: swimming, soccer, girl scouts, ballet, music lessons.....the list is endless :) I also work part time for my husband. So when do I craft? At night, or at Scrap Happy!

The plan is for me to post every Tuesday. I plan to include class samples, creative ways to craft with your Cricut and home decor projects. Today I have a layout sample for an upcoming class series that several of us will be taking turns teaching. ( I forget the class name, lol) but we are looking to give you scrappers some quick formulas to get layouts done quickly. Today's page I designed to fit a lot of full photos, saves time from having to crop them, and space to journal/make notes about the event. I am working with pictures of Elizabeth from ballet class at the Y and multiple other cute snapshots of her posing for the camera. The Ballet Princess papers are perfect for this! I have also a picture of the "boy" version of this layout design using "Robots" paper. Both sets of layouts will also include plain color Bazzil cardstock, We R embroidered paper, other pattern papers & coordinating cardstock stickers. The class will give you the choice of "girl" or "boy" papers :)

Home from CHA......It was a lot of fun! Saw Lots and LOTS of new product. Got a lot of new things coming into the store....cardstocks, Prima stuff, ribbons.....and best of all STAMPS!!!!! (Guess who is writing this entry?? lol)

Anyway we have a new line coming in called La-La Land stamps...well, they have been around about a year....but they are sooooooo cute!!! We did a make-n-take there two days in a row but you can see them in a bit....first and foremost.....SUSIE IS COLORING!!!!!!! She actually colored a stamped image....and guess what? She is really good....but I knew she would be, she just didn't ;)

Oh my, move over hubby, I have a new love and it is at Scrap Happy!!!!! It is a brand new paper company called Authentique and it is unlike any other in its quiet, understated beauty! This is a MUST see for everyone with all tastes & styles, vintage, retro, classic, simple, shabby chic, feminine, masculine, distressed, you name it, it has it all and is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S to boot!!!! They are whimsical at one glance and elegant at the next. Each line speaks to everyone differently, and I hear the sweet prose of Austen and Bronte when looking at Splendid and Uncommon, and Gatsby in Journey. I am absolutely in AWE of these papers and I want to share my excitement with all of you! Their alphas are beautiful, the card stock stickers are amazing and they have diecuts that are phenomenal! Not only are they beautiful and the sentiments lovely but backside is full of more gorgeousness!!! My personal favorite element of these lines are the "Diction" stickers. They are beautiful, tiny word stickers that match each line flawlessly in color, style beauty, & lyricism. You have to see them to really appreciate them! They have a very unique way of displaying their 12 x12 papers for the scrapper and they have 6x6 pads with 3 each of 12 designs for the cardmaker!

I just can't say enough about this new company, absolutely my favorite out right now! I hope that you will stop into the store, as we have all the current lines, I promise, I did not buy out the store, although I would have but for fear of being scolded by mama Susie for not sharing! :/

Look what I made!!!! First, I cannot take credit for the idea because I saw it somewhere else on the web and jumped all over this!!!! I needed an awesome portable storage for my markers. I found it!!! It will also work great for home....it's just PERFECT!!!!!!!!! This holds every one of the Copic Sketch marker.....(and I have every one now! ;o)....)....I have room for 15 more markers so if they come out with a few new ones, I still have room for them!!

And, just so you know.....these containers will be in the store at Scrap Happy soon!

Scrap Happy just had their 5 year anniversary, as you already know......well, when they first opened in New Riegel I went over to check out the new scrapbook store. Of course I bought a few things....some My Mind's Eye cardstock, a die cut "B" and a punch. Well, I still have that punch and I have never forgotten where I got it or how nice Susie was when I was at her new store. She is still just as nice when anyone walks through her door, too! Her store was soooo new, neither of them knew how to load the pricing gun (tee hee).....I happened to know how and showed her.....and we still help each other out to this day :o). OPERATION WRITE HOME

We have some exciting news to share with all of you. Scrap Happy is SO pleased & excited to tell you we will be participating in the Operation Write Home project. If you are unfamiliar with Operation Write Home, it is an organization that collects handmade cards from around the country and sends them in care packages to the troops overseas. They can be cards to the troops or blank cards for the troops to send home to their loved ones. Either is more than welcome.

To help you get started, Scrap Happy will be hosting a FREE card class on Sunday, June 19th @ 6pm. This will be taught by Susie and all the cards you make will be donated to the troops. Then, the following Sunday, June 26th, you can come into the store anytime from 12-6 to make your own cards to donate. Both of these are free, however, we would appreciate if you would still sign up, either online or at the store, so we can keep track of supplies, etc.

If you can't make it to either event, we will still be an official "drop zone" for any and all cards donated by you, up until July 2nd. That is the deadline as we have to ship these out by the Fourth of July!

If you want to donate your handmade creations, please note there are some simple guidelines to follow when making your cards. These are for the safety and ease of handling of the troops, so please take a look by clicking the "guideline" link above. They are in need of Birthday, Thank You, Missing You, Thinking of You and generic & Blank cards. Especially blank cards so they can write to their loved ones. Also, please include masculine colors and themes, as well.

These are the last couple days to sign up for the Karen Burniston pop-up card class(es) on Saturday, June 11th!

If you are still unfamiliar with her or the class(es), she is a nationally known card and die designer who works for and designs for Ellison/Sizzix! She has been published in many of the trade magazines you read AND she is coming to YOUR Scrap Happy, this is such an exciting & great opportunity. She will be bringing with her the brand new dies she just designed and that we will use for the class. This is exciting as well as we will get to see these before ANYONE else and BUY them, too. The dies are a little different than the traditional dies you may be familiar with, they are designed to allow you to do some pretty neat and unique pop-up elements for your cards and anything else your mind and creativity can aspire to.

She will be doing two classes that day, both held @ Scrap Happy, the first, Funsy will be from 10am-1230pm and then the Artsy will be held at 130pm-4pm. There IS limited space available so it would behoove of you to sign up SOON!! You can sign up and get all the info by clicking on the class names above, or if you are interested in BOTH, click here. There, you will also find all the supply information. There is an extensive list of supplies NEEDED and some that are suggested. We would like to wish all of our customers a very Happy and safe Memorial Day. We hope that you are having a great time with your friends and family while remembering the real reason for the day. We thank our military, past and present, for their sacrifice and service.........we salute you!

Registration for the garage sale is currently taking place and we already have some sweet goodies, I don't want to say too much, but I hear a cricut will be part of the sale! I have also seen some albums, stickers and LOTS more. I am so excited, can't wait to shop!!!! You have already been let in on the news of the bi-annual garage sale as well as the fantastic Karen Burniston coming to us allllllllll the way from Texas to give us a sneak peek of the new Ellison/Sizzix pop-up dies with her absolutely gorgeous and inspired pop-up cards. Scrap Happy Garage Sale Days are upon us!!!!

Beginning Monday, June 13th through Thursday, June 30th, we will be having our bi-annual Garage Sale, so mark your calendars, June is a FANTASTIC time to visit Scrap Happy.

For those of you who may be unfamiliar with out Garage Sale Days, individuals, even you, can drop off their unwanted scrap & craft items, in good and usable condition, of course, and they are sold, garage sale style at the store. At the end of the garage sale we will tally up your sales and you will receive a Scrap Happy gift card worth the amount you made!

So, beginning tomorrow, May 23rd, come into the store to register, pay the small $5 fee for your table space, receive a number then go home and label all your goodies with your given number and the price you choose, then bring them into the store on or before close Sunday, June 12th. After that, you don't have to do anything else, just wait until the end to see how much you made! It's that easy, but this is a very popular event and space IS limited so act fast. Tell your friends and family, not only is it fun to sell but very fun to shop!!!!

2011 Great Lakes Mega Meet-FINALLY

Banner Susie whipped up with doilies, GORGEOUS & everyone LOVED it!

I know, I know, we have been back from the 2011 Mega Meet for well over a week, now. Blame it on me, the new girl (Candy) and my new camera and my new photo editing program......not to mention my utter exhaustion from partaking in the fun that was Mega Meet. In fact, not sure that I, or any of us for that matter, have completely recovered.........however, my exhaustion is NOT the excuse for leaving out photos of myself ;)

If you don't know what Great Lakes Mega Meet is, it is a huge, annual, convention held in Novi, MI and it's full of pure, unadulterated scrapbooking Heaven! Regional and local shops, national vendors, lots of super door prizes, crops, classes, and 1000's of ideas & inspiration from all over. Everyone who has a passion for scrapbooking, card making or just about any paper craft just HAS to attend Mega Meet at least once! The good news is, if you missed Mega Meet, never fear, this year the organizers of Mega are planning a Mini Meet in Toledo, OH on November 18th & 19th at the Seagate Centre downtown! The even better news.......Scrap Happy is going to be a vendor at the 1st annual convention!!!!! We will keep you updated on registration information as we get it, we want you ALL to come see us.

We spent the first day setting up and for all our hard work we had a beautiful booth.

Susie, taught 3 classes each day with the exception of the last..........there just wasn't enough time. Of course, all her students loved her and her kits, I mean, seriously, who wouldn't? Sharon & Cathy worked on make~n~takes,

I manned the register,

and the infamous & faithful Ron,

husband of Susie, tamed the colony of ladies swarming the t-shirts that just so happened to be THE talk of Mega Meet. Young & old alike were buzzing about our t-shirts, so many ladies came back two or three times to get more or get another as gift for her lucky friend! It was so fun.....well, until we got back to the hotel at night and had to make more and more and more t-shirts.............

This was our room, ohhhhhhh, about 2am.......=D Yes, that is our Susie hiding back there..........=D

It was a fabulous, albeit, exhausting weekend, we met so many nice people, got lots of new people signed up for store info, saw gorgeous works of creativity, networked with other vendors and most importantly got lots of fabulous ideas running through our heads. So many awesome things are coming up in the months ahead at Scrap Happy, classes, product, crops, and SO much more, a lot of it is inspired by our annual trip to Mega Meet. We hope you are signed up for our email list or have friended us on facebook. There will be lots of important info coming to you in the days weeks ahead. Hard to believe I am currently working on Summer calendar....where in the world does time go?

First...a word from Karen:

I love pop-ups! I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when I create something interactive out of paper. I love the look of surprise on a person's face when he or she opens up a card and something unexpected happens. I love creating and teaching pop-ups more than I love Agatha Christie mysteries, malted milk balls and reality TV! (And that says a lot!)

My background is in civil engineering, and I am grateful for my CAD skills every time I design a new pop-up template or mechanism. In 2009 I licensed my designs to Sizzix to be made into dies to fit in their Big Shot die cutting machines. The dies are a fabulous way to make pop-ups - no more cutting and scoring by hand!

Besides being a pop-up enthusiast, I'm also a wife to John and a mother to twins Karl and Emma. We have a high-maintenance Puggle named Lucy who likes to eat paper piercers. After a decade of living in beautiful Colorado we moved in June 2010 to Katy, Texas. Yes, I did say June. Yes, it really IS hot in the summer!

I've taught scrapbooking classes all over the world and it's such a rewarding feeling when a student starts the class saying "I can't make that!" and ends the class saying "I just made that!"

I've got a passion for pop-ups. Watch out . . . it's contagious!

Time for some new layouts!

Happy Sunday evening, everyone. Our illustrious leader & the heart and soul behind Scrap Happy, Susie, FINALLY took some "me" time for herself and cropped her little heart out, albeit alone and without her cherished Chestnut Roan chalk ink (do I hear the collective "awwwwwwwwww"?), but the results are nonetheless gorgeous and inspired. She, of course, used her favorite muses & two of the super fun new Summer lines from Echo Park and Simple Stories. Both are now available at the store and honestly, couldn't be more darling and different from each other. Echo Park's Summer Days collection is full of bright, vivid, fun colors and icons like ferris wheels & popsicles that are so traditionally associated with Summer, while Simple Stories' 100 Days of Summer line has much more muted and soft vintage colors that take one back to a more fond and nostalgic time. Both are equally gorgeous and and OH-SO-FUN to play with, come check them out! Not only are they great for their intended season, Summer, but they are both very versatile and can be used year 'round!

Wanted to pop in and let you know that I have not forgotten you all. We are back from Mega Meet...and what a great time that was!!!! I saw Tim Holtz for the first time and got him to sign his book for me "in person"....I say in person because it was signed by him to me...I just was not present at the time and it said something about me missing a great time...so I had him sign it in person. He thought it was prety funny. He is not what I thought him to be. I thought he would be very uppity and standoffish....but I saw none of that from him at all. Very nice guy. Mingled and had lots of pics taken with lots of people.

Anyway, back to the blog....I am going to be working on this blog a lot in the VERY near future (I am actually figuring out how I am going to do it exactly at the present time). I promise you will like it when it is all done. I am adding buttons on it so you can click around and find what you are looking for very easily...and it will be in catergories....so stay tuned!!

In the meantime, I thought I would share my Copic addiction with you all...hahaha. I have graduated to bigger and better totes to carry my markers to classes with me so I will show you what I had and what I now have....I still need something like 32 markers to have all 334 of them!!!! UGH!!!!

Anyway, I started with this....

and now have THIS!! ....

AND......you are going to think I am crazy, but they need more colors!!! There is not a very good selection of yellows at all....and a couple others, too, but the yellows leave a lot to be desired for me.

Thanks for letting me share my addiction.....haha. If you want to learn how to color with these markers, come into the store and sign up for a beginner Copic class....you do not have to have the markers for this class and you will love it!!!

I have been soooo busy coloring samples for Mega Meet but I got a card made to share with you tonight. And....just so you know....I forgot to take pics of the images I have colored so far but am going to go into Scrap Happy and get some pics tomorrow so you all can see what I have been up to...maybe then I will be forgiven for slacking on here. I promise to be back up to normal once Mega Meet is over next weekend. I can't wait to get there and get Tim Holtz to sign my book that he has out,"A Compendium of Curiosities " ...if you don't have it yet, you need this book, you really do!!! (and....my book is already signed but I didn't get to have him sign it FOR me, although it is signed TO me, personally...lol).

Ok....so enough of my blabbering....here is my newest card for you all to feast your eyes upon....

Hi everybody!! Miss me??

Sorry I have been gone for awhile but things have been really hectic around here. Hubby has been sick, he was also in a car accident (with my car)...not his fault and he is ok....the other guy, however, has a long road to recovery in front of him. The other guy was on a motorcycle and rear-ended my husband. Not good but he will be ok and that is a good thing.
AND....I have been coloring my fingers to the bone getting samples ready for Mega Meet that is in May in Novi, Michigan!!!!!! That is the fun part of the hectic that has been going on! I did get a quick card made to share with you. You have to excuse the crooked cut....I had to use my old, junky trimmer since my good one is in the trunk of the car and it is 6 a.m. and I didn't feel like going outside to get it. Thought I could make this one do the job....NOT! You pay so much money for these things...you think they would work better than they do!!

OK....enough of my ramblings.....here is my card for you to feast your eyes upon!!....

I hope you all are not asking that question! I guess I am a slave driver!!! Don't worry she will be back soon, she has been helping Scrap Happy prepare for our next consumer show!
We will be in Novi Michigan at Mega Meet!!! Each booth can only take an approved company, we are lucky this year and get to take some awesome companies including......Cottage Kutz(hi Greg!!) Silhouette of America ( hi kris!!), Pink Paislee, Fiskars, Lilly Bee, QuicKutz and new this year will be our own Scrap Happy label!!! We have some exciting new kits available!!!
So i guess that means you are stuck with me trying to inspire you to get creative!! Thank heaven I had some inspiration earlier this week!

Yes, this is me with the ever so talented Tim Holtz!!! I am not sure if it is more shocking to see a photo of me or a photo with me with Tim!!! I was lucky enough to be invited by a special friend to enjoy an entire day refreshing my creative side!!! YOU all need to do this! Pull out your calendars and make an appointment with yourself to relax, enjoy the moment and get creative! Life is crazy! Take time for you!

Punches, punches, and more punches.....

Ok, so how many border punches do YOU have??

I have a few and I forget what I have. I mean, you just can't leave all of your border punches out on the table in front of you at all times. So, I don't use them like I would like to. Well, a while back I cut strips out with my punches and now they lay there in a pile but I figured it is better than the punches laying there. Then I was at Scrap Happy with Susie and we made a diplay for her punches at store. I loved it so much that I bought some cardstock and came home and did the same with all of my punches.

Wanna See????....

I LOVE IT!!! Now I can see all of my punches with one glance!! I put abbreviations on them as to what brand the punch is and I am going to make some tags with the punch name on them. (I need to do this so you all know what punch I am using when I create something!!) The brown cardstock is 12 x 12 and the punched images all measure 1" x 5".

Welcome Spring!!!

I love Springtime! The feeling of watching everything come back to life, turn green and see all of the beautiful Spring flowers blooming is just indescribable! So, I thought I would give you a flower card to feast your eyes upon this morning. I am a day late getting this here, but both of my camera batteries needed charged.. Somebody left the camera switch "on" and drained the battery

Anyway, one is charged and the other is on the charger now.....so here it is....what do you think??

It is actually much prettier in person, so if you get into the store take a look at it in person.

I am not real sure I am happy with this one.....it is very subtle....maybe too much.

April Showers....

LOVE IT!!!! This little boy is so cute.....and you know what they say....April showers bring May flowers and I cannot wait until the flowers all start to bloom. I am so ready for Spring and all the pretty colors! So, here is my Tuesday share!

This first picture is a good shot of the card itself....

The 2nd picture is tilted back a bit so you can see the glossy accents I put on for the raindrops and water.....

Good Friday morning to you all!!!

I thought it was time to make a boy card and since Susie got some REALLY cute dinasaur and monster stamps in the store, I thought I would use one of them!

Isn't he just the cutest little monster??? I love Whipper Snapper stamps!! I have a very busy day left ( I am getting this post ready on Thursday) so I can't chat a lot today. Susie is setting up at the scrapbooking expo in Columbus, Ohio and I am headed down there as soon as I am done with this. You can check out HERE to see what is going on there! For the Love of Copics!!!!

Ok, so Susie has sat in on a couple of my Copics classes and guess what?....She is hooked!!! HAHAHAHA!!! They are so addicting once you get the hang of them. She colored in her first image all on her own Sunday night. She posted it on her Facebook, so I am sure she will not mind me sharing it on here....

I just love this stamp!!! I have talked myself out of it several times and now I am going to have to go to the store and buy it...(thanks, Susie). It is a WhipperSnapper stamp. They are all just so darn cute, I want them all!!

Ok, now on to my Copics....I am about to show you all the cards for the April Copic classes. I will show you the beginner class and then the 2 cards that are being offered for the advanced classes.

This beginner image has some airbrushing on the edges, so all of you who take it get to play with my compressor to airbrush your own image! (Warning.....this could be dangerous to your pocketbook!!)

Now, on to the advanced class cards....

The little girl and the background are Hero Arts stamps. I will show you how I made the background on this card.

And this little bluebird of happiness is a Whipper Snapper stamp (and I believe it is called Bird on a Branch). I think he is just soooo cute!! As you can see, I pulled out the compressor on this one and airbrushed the edges so you get to play with my compressor again!! (I love that thing!!!)

Wallpaper Flowers

Ok, this card ws so much fun to make!!! I colored it in with watercolors pencils....and I don't usually use these so it different for me to do this....but, I LOVE how it turned out for such a simple card!

List of items used:

Stamp: Hero Arts 'Wallpaper Flowers'

Punch: Martha Stewart Deep Edger Punch - Doily Lace (LOVE that punch!!)

Misc: craft cardstock, watercolor pencils, fine line black marker, jute, Basic Grey button and wooden cotton swaps ('Q-tips') for coloring in the watercolor pencils. (Love these cotton swaps....very nice for coloring because they are rigid and then you just throw them away!!)

Egg Tree......

Easter is just around the corner and time to really think about those Easter cards. I LOVE this following stamp! It is so simple and cute!!! It colors in very quickly, too. Just got a new batch of them in to the store but you better hurry in to get one...they sold out in one day last time!!

Isn't it cute???!!!! I layered the colors in the eggs and they actually have a little dimension to them, (you might be able to tell by clicking on it and making it bigger in this post). First I colored them with my Copic markers, then I added some clear gitter with my Spica glitter pen, then I topped them off with some Glossy Accents. It is VERY pretty in person (pictures never do our cards justice ).

Misc: pop dots, pink ribbon and cardstock

OH, and the really cool thing about this stamp.....the tree is on the wooden block and the sentiment is on the edge of the block so you can use them on the same card anywhere you want! NICE!!!!

I love Tim Holtz! He is sooo talented and creative! Wish I had his imagination, but I am thankful that he has it so I can learn from him.
This is a card I created with the help of some of the

new Sizzix dies he designed. I love them all!!

I did some distressing on this card with Distress Inks from Ranger. I love using those inks. They blend together and you can do so much with them. If you have not seen Tim's new book called, "A Compendium of Curiosities " you HAVE to see this!!! It is awesome! He shows you so many techniques and step by step tutorials for his creations. Distress Inks are so versatile and he shows you many ways to use them. (FYI...Susie has this book in the store!!)

I LOVE this paper collection!!! It is "Kioshi" from Basic Grey and it is selling fast so don't wait to get it!!! This lay-out is so cute!! I love the fuzzy flowers on it!!!!

These kits are offered every month and if you buy 12 months of kits consecutively, you get a free album at the end of the 12 months to put all of your lay-outs in!! How cool is THAT?????

What do you think?? Wouldn't your baby or babies look even more beautiful on this lay-out??? (and I don't care how old they get....they will always be your babies!!) All you have to do differently is to replace the white cards with photos!

This lay-out went together so quickly, so you can't say you don't have the time to do it!! No excuses!! Run out and get one while they last! (This Kioshi collection is going FAST!!!!)

These cards are soooo cute!! The stickers are popped and glittered....well, some of them are glittered. It was hard to pick out only 8 of the 12 to make. Well, I will stop chatting and let you see them, so....here they are.....

UH, OH!!!! I just noticed when I posted this that I have one of the cards from the March kit in here and the cards are at the store so I cannot change it now.....DOH!!!! Anyway, the owl card with the buttons is from the March kit, so that means I probably have one in the March kit that belongs in this kit....better go check on that one. :(

So....look at the rest of them...aren't they just the cutest!!!!!! This is the "Kioshi" collection from Basic Grey. The cardstock is so cute that comes with this collection and it is going fast!!

This page set is very nice for anyone, but would make a great boy lay-out! This is made from the "Origins" collection from Basic Grey. You get all of this product in the kit and lots of leftover to make other things! Gotta love those extras!!!!

Took some up close pics of each page so you can see the details.....then the complete lay-out. (I have got to get some scrap-booking done and putting these together really is getting me in the mood!) These are so simple to do...the instructions are all there for you...step by step. And the color photos that accompany the instructions are so clear and easy to view. So, all you have to do different is put your favorite photo in place of the white inserts that are on these lay-outs and write whatever you want in the little journalling blocks (add some of your own if you want to!!).

Come and get yours before they are all gone!!!

Sorry about the glare from my flash....I had to use my other camera and am not used to the settings on it. I usually use my "little" camera because it is my "crafting" camera, but it went on vacation to Tennessee....HA! (My son-in-law picked it up accidentally and put it in my daughters purse thinking it was theirs. I bought them one and liked it so much, I bought myself one just like it! Hope I get it back soon...it is so much easier to do this stuff with!)

But, anyway, I hope you like the cards....they are so much cuter in person and I love the buttons (and the fact that there are so many left over! I LOVE BUTTONS!)

So, the butterfly card (lower left in the top group) belongs with the April collection. That is what I get for mixing them up and doing this all at 6 in the morning!!! March Copics classes

Hello all!! I wanted to pop in and share the cards we are making in the March Copics class at Scrap Happy. I offer one beginner and two advanced classes each month. The advance classes change every month and the beginner class gets a facelift every couple of months (I really just get tired of coloring in the same image over and over...).
For the beginner class, we color in an image suitable for putting on a card. You do not have to have your own makers for this class.
The advanced classes are complete card classes. You will walk out with a card all put together and ready to give to someone. For these classes you are required to purchase your own markers.
So, if you want to know what all the commotion is about with these markers, come and take a beginner class! You have nothing to lose and you might just fall in love with them....like I did!!

This cute little mouse image is the beginner class.

The kids in the boat is the first advanced class that will take place.

....And this adorable bunny is the second advanced class for March.

OH!! I almost forgot to tell you!!! You can airbrush with these markers!!!! I have airbrushed on all three of these images so if you take a class, you get to play with my compressor, too!!!!

Hello!! This is my first post on the Scrap Happy blog! My name is Sharon and I am the Copic marker instructor at the store. Many of you know me already from taking my classes, but some of you may not. I am here to share some of my creations with you and show you some of the lovely items Susie has in the store for you.
If you become a follower of the blog, you will not miss a thing....so, come on and join us!!

The main stamp in this card is such a simple stamp, but it is so lovely all colored in with my Copic markers.
I stamp all of my images with Memento ink. It is a great ink to use with Copics since it does not smear. I also stamp on Prism cardstock....and Susie has both of these items in the store.
Here is a list of the items I used for this card:
Stamps: (all Hero Arts stamps) Engraved Daisy, Striped Pattern and Fourish Background (and these are all cling stamps)
Inks: Dusty Concord (Ranger distress ink), Memento black, Shadow ink in Soft Wheat and Cloud White Versa Magic for the edges.

Misc.: Nestabilities Labels 5 and misc. ribbon and pearls.
